Dr.MohammadReza Taghavifard

This journalist started writing in newspapers in 1990 and his articles were published in Salam, Jahan-e-Islam, Tose'e, Sada-e Adalat, Iran, as well as Soroush magazines, etc. The first poetry book of this poet entitled "Night Glory" was ready to be published in 1991 and in 1999 it was licensed to be published along with another collection of poems entitled "Pen Dance". In same year, he composed the poetic legend "Daughter of the Sun and Son of the Moon" in 2244 verses and published it with another book entitled Boundaries of Silence. In same years, he published two works for children and adolescents, entitled "The Beautiful Season of Happiness" (poetry) and "The Man with One Hundred Children" (translation), and thus he became an authors in the field of children and adolescents. The play "Underground is the Sea" was another work by this author that was published in the national media during the same years.

This radio and television announcer and presenter started his artistic activity as a reporter, announcer, editor and writer in radio in 1991 and he started his visual activity by performing television programs in 1994. He has previously acted in small roles in movies and several theaters.

 In 1995, as a designer, producer and director of the War Creators Competition, which was produced in 13 episodes, he aired it on the 3 Sima network, and in 1997-1996, he started producing a combination-theatrical collection "Encyclopedia". "Family" in 60 episodes for the social group of the Sima network. His collaboration as a media presenter on radio and television continues. This radio and television announcer has a history of performing and narrating for three generations in his repertoire and has performed in all age and social groups.

In 2004, he worked as the Deputy Managing Director and Editor of the National Era of Media, and after 2 years, he became the Editor of the National Newspaper. in 2009 he became the managing director and editor of Bamdad newspaper. After the closure of Bamdad newspaper in March 2012, he became the managing director and editor-in-chief of Khorshid newspaper and published 360 issues of Khorshid newspaper for about a year and a half.

Taghavifard continued to work as the managing director and editor-in-chief of Mossadegh Monthly, and then became the managing director and editor-in-chief of Hemgalam weekly and the research quarterly of Art Theories.

Mohammad Reza Taghavifard entered the Faculty of Cinema and Theater of the University of Arts in 1999 and taught art and media at the same university and the Faculty of News with a bachelor's degree in cinema directing and a master's degree in cinema. At the same time as studying for a doctorate, after receiving a doctorate in art research from Tehran University of Arts, he continued to teach at the same university for a master's degree.

His theories of media exclusion, democracy or against democracy, cinema and film rewriting are among his, and so far dozens of book titles and hundreds of articles by this contemporary Iranian author, artist and theorist have been published.

This famous Iranian writer, artist and theorist is now 54 years old and lives in Tehran.
